What happens in winter
​
In winter we offer our guests a free ski bus, which takes you within minutes to the surrounding ski areas of Obertauern, Grosseck, Katschberg and Fanningberg with a total of over 300km of perfectly groomed slopes. 100km of groomed cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs, night skiing, snowshoe hikes, winter hiking trails,... Or how about taking part in a biathlon or taking a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through nature?
What happens in summer

Located between the Nockberge and the Tauern, with over 60 mountain lakes, managed alpine pastures and mountain roads, this is the ideal hiking, biking and recreational area. You can choose between golf, hikes (guided tours are also possible), bike tours, rafting, airplane flights, swimming pool,... or even a visit to the natural history museum in the castle.

Sustainability and environmental protection

Sustainability and environmental protection are important to us. Therefore, our houses are of course operated in a CO2-neutral manner. Heating is done with district heating made from wood chips. The electricity comes from the in-house PV system and entirely from renewable energies. Charging stations for electric cars directly at the house own parking spaces.
